Started From Instagram Now We Here!

It's finally here, y'all. Our first blog post! If you haven't been following us on Instagram for the last 11 months then it's possible you have no idea who "we" are. I'm Tori and I am starting this blog with my younger sister, Leann.  We will get into introductions later but first I wanted to tell you all a little about what this blog is going to be about and show you some of our favorite moments via Instagram.

So why The Peach Sisters? We were both born in Virginia, spent 5 years living in Texas, then moved to Georgia at a young age. Both of us spent over a decade of our lives in Georgia. We made some of the best friends there, fell in love with SEC football, and have a strong bond with the Peach State. Now life has brought us into two different states(Leann is in Texas and I'm in Kansas) but our love for Georgia has not faded one bit. That's where the peach part comes into play. And sisters? We were born 2 years apart and both in the spring. Leann and I are the middle sisters. We share hobbies, taste in clothing, and even friends but we both have our own distinct personality and style.

 My sister and I have always wanted to have a blog. I personally have been blogging from the days of Xanga, to MySpace, to LiveJournal and most recently on Tumblr. We have followed blogs for years and watched the success and always said it was something we wanted to do. We both continued to hesitate to do it alone until one day we decided to combine our ideas and create a sister blog. It's a way for us to stay connected, both use our talents, and have someone to share the responsibilities with. When we finally decided this was something we were ready to do it was right on the brink of a huge life change for me. I was packing up my life and moving across the country to start a new job and be with my now fiance. Being that I was going to be figuring out my life and new surroundings, it just made since to ease into this blog. So we decided to start with The Peach Sisters Instagram.

The Peach Sisters have been on Instagram for almost a year now! It has been such a fun journey to get to express our style and start sharing things we want to be a part of this blog. Since neither of us had any experience in blog design, we decided to hire someone to make it look as wonderful as it does. I have been following Kaelah's blog for years and knew that her design style lined up with what we wanted. We gave her a small idea and along with her talent and creative freedom she gave us something better than we could have imagined! Definitely check out her work and keep her in mind if you need someone to be your designer. 

So now we are here! We are so excited you have come to our new little space. We plan on blogging about fashion, travel, food, family, wedding planning( for me), attempts at DIYs, life's ups and downs, people who inspire us, and other peachy things. If you have been following us on Instagram up to this point we are so appreciative of the support. Leann and I are so very excited about this blog!
