This outfit is kind of throwback, if you consider 3 months ago throwback. My friend Lesley and I drove to Waco, TX to interview Drew Holcomb and enjoy a his concert. We showed up feeling the same stripe vibes. This happens to us almost every time we hang out.
It was such great night of girl talk, tacos, coffee, and good live music. These are a few of our favorite things.
1. We met through my husband: We were instantly best friends and have been ever since. Some times I think we are the same person, except she is the cooler version of me.
2. She has traveled the world. Legit. She once visited 11 countries in 11 months with an organization called The World Race.
3. She set a goal to go to 25 concerts before she turned 25. I think she got to 24 which is still very impressive.
4. She has really cool tattoos. And she got a lot of them while she was traveling the world.
5. She loves coffee more than Tori and I do.
Bonus Fact: I had to talk her into taking these photos. It was the perfect combination of humor, awkwardness and success. (The outtakes from this day were hilarious)
It is no secret that I love this shirt. I wear it once a week. I love that I can wear it with everything. It is the perfect shirt for layering, so I can wear it all year long. This look was the classic comfort and chic look that I strive for. Felt like I fit in with all of the college students at the show. Yeah, I feel old for the statement being the norm in my life.
Lesley talked me into standing in the road for a photo. This picture turned out really good, but you should have seen the photos of me jetting back to the sidewalk when I thought I heard a car coming.
