Georgia on my Mind

I am so very excited because tomorrow I am leaving for a visit home to Georgia!! I have been living in Kansas since October so I could not be more excited to fly home and see some of my best friends, family, and of course eat at some of my favorite spots. I decided to choose the early wake up call vs. a busier airport and I am leaving on the 5AM flight! I am actually a morning person so I don't really mind starting my day off before the sun and I absolutely love being in airports before they get busy. Plus we have a new fun donut shop on my way to the airport and there's now a Dunkin Donuts at ICT so I'll take the early morning as an extra good reason to start my vacation with donuts. 

I travel a lot more in my late 20's than I ever did before. For about a year and a half it was to come to Kansas to see Kevin ( my fiance) but now most of my flights are to go see family aka the world's cutest nephews. 90% of the time my go to flying outfit involves some sort of comfy workout pants and an over sized shirt. I am trying to make the most of my time with friends and family and in Georgia so this time I have decided to wear a right off the plane outfit so that way I won't feel the need to change after my flight.

This top was a recent find from Old Navy for only 5 bucks AND it is automatic pattern mixing so I couldn't resist.  I also can't get enough of stripes lately.

The bermuda shorts are actually cotton but look like denim so they are super comfortable. They wrinkle a bit when I sit down but they also have the distressed look so the messy vibe works.  I paired both of these items with my high top converse and some new sunnies!

My suitcase is packed with my bathing suit, dresses, shorts and tank tops! I'm excited for a week of no work clothes and to rock my casual comfy style. Leann has been on a road trip with my parents and Finley herself so once she's home she'll give a recap. I plan on documenting my trip to share with you guys when I'm back too.
