Assembling my Wedding Avengers

When Kevin proposed, I pretty much knew right away who I wanted to be in my wedding party. My sisters were a given and the other 4 girls are some of my best friends on the planet. All of my bridesmaids are different personalities and know me in different ways. I'm very excited to have them be a part of this day with me.

Since my wedding is technically an out of town one for everyone except Kevin's family, I wanted to find a special way to ask the girls to participate. I had been looking for many ideas on Pinterest and knew I wanted to do some type of box. I also had an idea for personalized coffee cups. I went back to my friend, Hayley, who created my adorable coffee mug I used to announce I was engaged. I contacted her and she said she had made them before and could make them no problem. I'm getting ahead of myself but she sent me the mugs I requested AND added in a mug for me as a surprise! It was the sweetest thing!

(Thanks again, Hayley. I love them so much!)

My friend from work offered to spend a day to go find the rest of the items for the box to complete the whole idea. We went to about 7 different stores, including BOTH Hobby Lobby's in town. It was the hardest trying to find the right box for it that wasn't super expensive. Finally in Michael's we discovered from Christmas boxes that were the right size. My friend Tiffany's husband is super crafty and I asked if he could spray paint them or show me how. She said yes, they were half off, and so 7 of them went into my cart! I forgot to take a before picture but it was a winter wonderland themed box. A far cry from the end result.

(I added a photo of myself and the bridesmaid to the top of each box)

I knew I wanted to get some sort of candy to go inside too so we went to a local place called The Nifty Nuthouse and they had M&Ms in what I then decided were going to be our main wedding colors. That was actually the first thing I bought. The rest of what's inside pretty much fell into place...about 4 hours into our day. It's mostly from  Hobby Lobby, then something from World Market, and the box from Michael's like I mentioned.

What's Inside:

 1. Personalized cup from Robo Mom

2. M&M's in a little jar that are our wedding colors (purple & burgundy)

3. Heart cookie cutter

4. Will you be my Bridesmaid? Card from Etsy

5. Paper shreds & diamond ring confetti

I absolutely LOVE the way these turned out. The colors of the wedding are in a small part of everything in the box. I think the most expensive thing for was honestly the candy and the spray paint. I was able to give 4 of them when I went to GA to my sisters, Amanda & Lexie. I worked hard to get them in the suitcase because I insisted on getting to see someone's reaction to it in person. I have 3 left that are all packed and ready to be shipped off soon.

It was fun to be creative and make these gifts! I can't wait for all of us to be together in October sipping from our coffee mugs on the big day. The wedding day is getting closer y'all!
