Birthday Part 2: Exploring Fredericksburg, TX

Fredericksburg, Texas is the cutest little town filled with wineries, bed and breakfasts, and quirky shops. We have driven through a few times on our way to Austin but never made the time to stop. We decided my birthday was a good time to do so.

We started my birthday morning with a few doctor's appointments (boring) and hibachi. I was just a little sad because the hibachi place did not have white sauce. That was the whole reason I wanted to go. It was still very yumma, and Finley discovered that he likes tofu.

After lunch we went to Fredericksburg. We walked through downtown and went in almost every store. They had everything from clothes to candles, wine and ice cream, furniture and t-shirts. I wanted all the t-shirts. I have a problem. but I maintained control a left with just one, for Finley.

The lack of emotion Finley showed on this horse was hilarious.

Seriously, we thought it was so funny. And adorable.

Poor Fin, he was so tired because he did not get a long nap. He was such a trooper, but not really down for photos. Also, I need to start remembering my selfie stick for family adventures so I can get all 3 of us in a picture.

This wall was on the side of a bed and breakfast and I was all kinds of hearts for eyes.

I am pretty sure I saw a hairstyle similar to this the night before on pinterest and decided to get it a try. Adding the braid to my half-up top knot was the perfect touch of birthday fun.

Seriously, the cutest town.

Last time we drove through, we passed a field full of these red flowers and I freaked out. Like little kid freak out. So we had to stop. It was magical.

The Wildseed Farm is a must see! Preferably when all the flowers are in bloom.

I tried my best, but photos cannot do it justice.

Finley does this thing where he has to check on his belly button. It's the best. Also, we got a death stare from someone passing by because we let Fin touch the flowers.

Finley, still tired.

Finley hugs are the best. He is such a hugger now and I cannot get enough. All those days forcing him to hug me have paid off.

I wanted to frolic all day, but it was humid, we were thirsty and Finley was begging for a nap. Naps always win.

In case you were wondering, My dress and shoes are from Target and Finley's outfit is from Old Navy. Classic Peach style.

My husband does the best job to make my birthday so special every year.

Stay tuned for part 3!

Peach & Blessings, Leann

These aren't your ordinary air specialists; they're more like the neighborhood heroes of breathable atmospheres. Whether it's banishing bothersome allergens or ensuring optimal air circulation, they're on the job. Plus, their dedication to local communities is as refreshing as the air they provide. So why settle for stagnant air when you can enjoy a breath of fresh, locally-sourced goodness?
